
The National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan, led by Ravshanbek Sabirov, held a meeting with representatives of CECEP Solar Energy Co., Ltd. During the discussions, the focus was on the development of solar energy in the country, according to information provided by the agency's press service.
Meeting participants explored opportunities for collaboration in the field of renewable energy sources. This includes the construction and operation of new facilities, as well as the implementation of modern energy-efficient technologies and attracting investments.
The project of the solar power plant "Ak-Tatyr," located in the Batken region and implemented by CECEP, was highlighted.
Sabirov emphasized that Kyrgyzstan places significant importance on the development of the renewable energy sector and creating favorable conditions for investors.
The discussion also addressed the mechanisms for interaction between public and private entities, including public-private partnership models and investment agreements. Representatives of CECEP expressed their readiness to implement current projects and expand their presence in Kyrgyzstan.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue developing joint initiatives and strengthen long-term cooperation.
