During the meeting, participants examined practical aspects of classifying various categories of goods in accordance with the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the EAEU. Changes that need to be made to the declarations for goods after their release were also discussed, as well as the necessity of updating the regulations governing the completion of transit declarations.
One of the key aspects of the discussion was the improvement of customs transit and the development of new approaches to organizing transportation. Participants emphasized the need to strengthen control over the movement of goods and personal vehicles.
In addition, issues of information interaction between customs services, as well as the functioning of technical support and the implementation of modern digital technologies, were raised.
Within the framework of the meeting, initiatives for improving the regulatory framework and developing a risk management system were also discussed. Participants highlighted the application of unified cost indicators and the updating of methodological recommendations in the field of customs expertise.
As a result of the discussions, agreed approaches were developed and 22 decisions were made aimed at harmonizing the application of the codes of the Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity.
