Agrarians of the Aravan district, located in the Osh region, have begun harvesting the first crop of Chinese cabbage, as reported by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.
On an area of 30 hectares, farmers have planted four varieties of cabbage. Currently, they are harvesting the earliest variety called "Bosai," which is distinguished by its high quality — the weight of one head ranges from 1 to 3 kilograms.
Agricultural producers have already sent 45 tons of fresh cabbage for export to Russia. Farmers expect that by 2026, the total harvest volume will reach 450 tons, and a significant portion of this product will be directed to foreign markets.
