In the current construction season, repair work is planned on the Too-Ashuu pass as part of the Bishkek - Osh highway, as reported by the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

Old asphalt will be removed and new pavement laid from the 130th to the 146th km. There are also plans to replace the barrier fences on the section from the "Sosnovka" post to the approach to the Too-Ashuu pass (80-139 km).

According to the Ministry of Transport, 180 out of 200 new parapets have already been installed. The barrier fences have not been updated for more than 20 years - since the last reconstruction of the Bishkek - Osh highway.

This year, the country also plans to repair both strategic routes and local roads. As part of the "state capital investments" program, the construction and repair of 700 km of roads is planned, including 457 km as per the title list. Changes and additions may occur during the implementation of the projects.
