At the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University named after B.N. Yeltsin, a meeting of the Board of Trustees took place, attended by Kamchybek Tashiev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).

The meeting was opened by Tashiev himself, who is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of KRSU. During the meeting, the participants discussed the results of the university's work for 2025 and identified key areas for its development in 2026.

University Rector Sergey Volkov presented the main achievements in education, science, and infrastructure, as well as outlined plans for campus development, the establishment of regional branches, support for student startups, and the creation of the Russian-Kyrgyz Center for Vocational Training.

During the meeting, strategic partnerships of the university were also confirmed and expanded.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed with the State Corporation "Rosatom," which includes the implementation of joint educational and engineering projects, including the establishment of a project office in the field of hydropower. Additionally, agreements were concluded for the Russian-Kyrgyz Center for Vocational Training project with PJSC "Kirovsky Zavod" and several specialized educational institutions.

Roadmaps for joint work with the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and "Gazprom Kyrgyzstan" were approved, and a memorandum was signed with Wildberries aimed at developing digital and entrepreneurial skills among students.

The decisions made have laid the foundation for KRSU's transition to a long-term development model that focuses on the integration of education, science, and the real sector of the economy, as well as strengthening the university's status as one of the leading educational centers in the region.
