He graduated from the Karakol University named after Kasym Tynystanov in 2013, earning a degree in energy engineering.
“I have been involved in woodworking since childhood. Due to my father's early death, I had to develop many skills,” he noted.
The idea for the yurt came while reading a translation of the Quran, which inspired him to appreciate nature more. First, he created a park, and then he envisioned the yurt, after which he received support from his mother.
To create the yurt, Emilbek used only local materials, which made it unique. It is plastered inside and out, insulated, and the floor is laid with straw. The manufacturing process took a whole year, and the top of the yurt is made of reeds, with a diameter of 7 meters.
The yurt retains heat wonderfully in winter and requires little fuel, and sleeping in it is especially restful, allowing one to wake up refreshed. The natural materials used in its construction contain no chemicals, which surprises visitors.
Recently, two Italian tourists visited the yurt, and one of them, impressed by what he saw, said, “I bought a ticket to Kyrgyzstan for these emotions.”
Emilbek intends to name his yurt “Yurt of the 19th Century” to reflect the simplicity and lifestyle of his ancestors.
He is also engaged in various jobs, including food delivery in the evenings.
Emilbek dreams of contributing to the development of Kyrgyzstan through ethnotourism. He plans to create a special ethnovillage that will connect all 7 regions of the country. He hopes this will attract tourists and boost the economy. Emilbek wants the project to reflect the Kyrgyz spirit and help preserve the rich history of the country,” he concluded.
