“The decision made defines not only the subjects of responsibility but also the stages of the product life cycle at which this responsibility can be applied,” noted the EEC.
In addition, issues related to establishing measures of responsibility will fall within the competence of each of the EAEU member states, which will be able to develop their own rules taking into account the peculiarities of national legislation, based on the principle of necessary sufficiency.
The EEC instructed the Commission, together with other Union states, to develop a number of measures aimed at combating the activities of unscrupulous economic entities.
