As part of this initiative, the district administrations of Sverdlovsk, Pervomaisky, Leninsky, and Oktyabrsky, together with representatives of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service, veterinary services, and tax authorities, regularly conduct raids and monitoring at markets and retail outlets in the city.

Inspections cover markets such as the "Osh Bazaars" shopping center, "Orto-Sai," "Alamedin," "Dordoy," "Aziz," as well as retail chains "Market," "Globus," "Asia," and others.

During the monitoring, explanatory work is carried out with sellers regarding the unacceptability of unjustified price increases and the necessity to adhere to established retail price limits. In particular, special attention is paid to ensuring that the maximum price for beef and lamb does not exceed 680 soms per kilogram.

Additionally, steps are being considered to expand the trade in meat products at affordable prices, including the allocation of trading spaces without intermediaries and the opening of new sales points.

Since January 14, 2026, wholesale meat trading at the Osh market has been halted, and a new meat pavilion "Chuygun" has opened at the "Altyn-Taka" livestock market, which meets all sanitary and veterinary requirements. Currently, wholesale meat trading is conducted here.

Retail meat sales are also carried out at this market in the "Taza Adal Et" pavilion, where residents can purchase quality and safe products.

The city administration reports that all retail outlets selling meat at the Osh market have moved to the "Altyn-Taka" livestock market, where the new pavilion "Chuygun" provides residents of the area access to quality meat at wholesale and retail prices.

Currently, the relevant wholesale prices are: lamb — 640–680 soms, beef — 640–680 soms, horse meat — 540–560 soms. Retail prices start from 660 soms.
