- During the discussion of the draft law "On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic 'On State and Municipal Services,'" Deputy Aysarkan Abdibaeva expressed her concern about the level of digitalization of state services in the country.

She inquired about the current state of the digitalization process for state services.

In response, she was informed that internet coverage reaches 90% of the territory of Kyrgyzstan.

However, Abdibaeva pointed out that even in Bishkek, many citizens are unable to fully utilize electronic state services. According to her, people have to spend entire days waiting in line at government institutions.

"If the situation is like this in the capital, then it is even more critical in the regions," the deputy added.

She also noted the discrepancy between official data on internet accessibility and the actual situation regarding access to digital services for citizens.

The draft law includes changes to the mechanism for providing state and municipal services, which implies simplifying procedures and expanding the possibilities of the electronic format.
