
During the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan, Marat Tagaev, presented current data on funding and production volumes in the domestic film industry.
According to Tagaev, there has been a noticeable increase in state support for cinema over the past three years:
- 2023 - 354 million soms;
- 2024 - 377 million soms;
- 2025 - 1 billion 20 million soms;
- 2026 - 988 million soms (planned funds).
- 3 feature films: "Ayan," "Nazik," "Ortomchu";
- 3 feature documentaries: "Bayyrky Kyrgyz Writings," "Manaschi - National Values," "Ancient Writing Culture";
- 2 short fiction films: "Bulak," "Sokur Ümüt";
- 17 short documentaries;
- 1 animated film: "Amantai and Aituyak".
- Series were also created by the "Kyrgyzserial" studio: "Jalbyz," "Chochun Kishi," "Muras," "Chypalak Bala," "Jalbyz-3," as well as various videos.
- 2 feature films: "Kara, Kyzyl, Sary" and "Ortomchu";
- 7 feature documentaries;
- 1 short fiction film;
- 24 short documentaries;
- 2 animated films;
- 7 series from the "Kyrgyzserial" studio.
