According to information provided by eyewitnesses, the incident happened on the Bishkek—Osh highway.
The Traffic Safety Department (TSD) of the Osh region confirmed the details of the incident, which occurred at 14:50 at the 663rd kilometer of the Bishkek—Osh road, within the village of Furkat.
It was reported that the driver of the "Honda Step," born in 1998, K. uulu M. from the rural district of Otuz-Adyr, was driving at high speed from north to south and hit three schoolchildren who were at the pedestrian crossing. These children, who live in Furkat, are A.A., born in 2018, her sister A.A., born in 2016, and O.A., born in 2019.
After colliding with the children, the driver of the "Honda Step" crashed into a parked "Daewoo Tico," driven by K. uulu K., born in 1991, from the village of Torgoy-Bulak. As a result of the impact, this vehicle was pressed against a "Mercedes-Benz Atego 1217," driven by G. uulu T. from the village of Shibe, born in 1995.
As a result of the accident, K. uulu U., the driver of the "Daewoo Tico," as well as his sons: K.U., born in 2015, and K.A., born in 2018, were injured. All of them sustained injuries and sought medical assistance at the Osh regional hospital.
According to the TSD, the "Honda Step" was placed in a towing lot, and the case materials were transferred to the investigative authorities.
