In Bishkek, at a meeting held by Mayor Aibek Junushaliev, the results of the inspection of the Orto-Sai market, which took place over the weekend, were discussed. The relevant information was provided by the city hall.
The mayor expressed dissatisfaction with the state of the market, noting that despite the improvement work carried out over the year, the oversight from the responsible services was insufficient. As a result, the situation reverted to previous problems: spontaneous trade resumed and the appearance of the area deteriorated.
“We cannot ignore such issues, limiting ourselves to one-time actions. It is our responsibility to address this problem daily,” the mayor emphasized.
As a result of the discussion, the following decisions were made:
- the head of the Organizational Control Department of the city hall, Kubandyk Akmatbekov, was relieved of his position;
- the akim of the October district, Zhanibek Orozaliev, was also dismissed;
- the first deputy akim of the October district, Mayrambek Adylbekov, also lost his position.
Disciplinary actions were announced for insufficient oversight and failure to fulfill duties:
- remarks were made to the deputy mayors Azamat Kadyrov and Ramiz Aliyev;
- reprimands were issued to the head of the Municipal Enterprise "City Road Transport Infrastructure," Asylbek uulu Bakai, and the head of the Municipal Inspection, Mirlanbek Talaybekov.
There was also an initiation of a review regarding the compliance of the head of the Economics and Finance Department of the October district administration with their position.
As a result of the measures taken, the new akim of the October district is Joldosh Bakhtiyarovich Chushtukov, who was previously the director of the Municipal Enterprise "Tazalyk."
In his place as the director of the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk," Maksatbek Duyshenkulovich Arinov was appointed, who previously held the position of director of the Mobilization Reserve Service of the Bishkek city hall.
