The Cabinet plans to increase life expectancy in Kyrgyzstan to 75 years.

The government of the Kyrgyz Republic has approved a strategy for the implementation of the National Development Program of the country until 2030.

According to this plan, it is expected that by 2030, the coverage of mandatory health insurance will reach 85% of the population, while the average life expectancy of citizens should increase to 75 years. It is also planned to reduce the maternal mortality rate to 22 cases per 100,000 live births.

Additionally, the program emphasizes the need to reduce child mortality to 14 cases per 1,000 children under 5 years old and to decrease premature mortality from non-communicable diseases by 30%. Non-communicable diseases include cardiovascular diseases, oncology, diabetes, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

The plan also includes increasing access for the population to disease prevention services, early intervention, and primary healthcare to 70%.
