At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Gulya Kozhokulova proposed to extend free medical insurance to full-time students until their graduation from university.

Currently, medical insurance only covers students under 21 years old who are enrolled in day classes.

Gulya Kozhokulova emphasized that many students do not graduate at 21, often reaching that age at 22 or even 23. In this regard, she suggested raising the age limit for insurance coverage.

In response to this proposal, the chairman of the FOMS, Azamat Mukhanov, stated that this initiative will be considered.
