
At this meeting, Mongolia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Ankhbayar Nyamdorj, co-chaired a discussion with the Permanent Representative of Cyprus, focusing on "Assessing current challenges, opportunities, and shortcomings in the implementation of the Global Plan to Combat Human Trafficking, as well as the link between human trafficking and organized crime." The results of this discussion were presented at the plenary session of the General Assembly.

In addition, Nyamdorj delivered a speech at the meeting, highlighting Mongolia's national position and the measures being taken to combat human trafficking.
