Kazakhstan considers maintaining oil production volumes a priority after the Ukrainian attack on the CPC in Novorossiysk

The ministry confirmed that the key task at this moment is to maintain daily production volumes and minimize potential economic risks, as reported by TASS.

By interacting with oil-producing companies, the agency is actively redistributing oil volumes and seeking alternative export routes. "We are considering all available transportation options and adjusting logistics according to the current technical capabilities of our partners," the ministry clarified.

The incident occurred on November 29, when a drone boat attacked the CPC marine terminal, leading to damage to one of the berths, which cannot be restored. In response, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan expressed protest and emphasized that such events negatively affect relations between Astana and Kyiv.
