
According to the latest reports, most of the injured are in hospitals in Córdoba. Currently, 73 people remain under medical supervision, of which 24 are in critical condition, including four children.
This accident occurred on the evening of January 18. The Iryo train, traveling from Malaga to Madrid, derailed and fell onto the track, where it collided with an Alvia train moving at a speed of 200 km/h. Among the deceased is the driver of the second train.
In light of this tragic incident, train services between Madrid and Andalusia have been temporarily suspended. The railway company Renfe has offered passengers the option of free cancellation and changes to tickets for all those affected by the suspension of train services.
