According to the press service of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), an Iranian drone was targeting American military facilities. The video from the scene shows thick smoke. It is unclear whether there was a direct hit on the building or if the damage was caused by debris falling after the drone was intercepted by the UAE's air defense forces.

Later, Dubai authorities confirmed that the damage to the facade of Marina 23 was indeed caused by debris from the drone after its interception.

In an official statement on social media platform X, it was stated: "Authorities confirm that the incident was minor and occurred as a result of a successful interception, which caused damage to the building's facade. The situation is under control."

On the same day, it was reported that one person died in Dubai. He was a victim of debris that fell after the "air interception" in the Al-Barsha area; the debris landed on a car, resulting in the death of the driver, who was of Asian descent.

The IRGC also reported that on the same day, Iranian military forces attacked several targets associated with the U.S. and Israel.

The statement noted: "As part of this strategic operation, military facilities in Haifa, northern Israel, were struck by new solid-fuel missiles 'Khaybar Shekan' with target guidance capability. Additionally, the IRGC Navy struck facilities supporting American troops at the Salman port."

Since February 28, Iran has begun retaliatory actions, launching missile and drone strikes against Israeli and American targets in the Persian Gulf region, where American military forces are stationed.

As a result of these attacks, the Dubai International Airport was also affected. Debris from intercepted drones caused a fire at the Burj Al Arab hotel, and a fire also broke out near the Fairmont hotel on the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah.
