Since January, the Trump administration has revoked 85,000 visas of all categories.
Starting from the beginning of 2025, 85,000 visas of various categories have been revoked in the United States, which is more than double the number of revocations from the previous year, according to the State Department. According to CNN data, over 8,000 of the revoked visas are student visas. About 50% of the revocations last year were related to offenses such as driving under the influence, theft, and assaults. The reasons for the remaining visa revocations were not specified.
