Russia suspended oil exports from Novorossiysk after strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As a result of drone attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, one of the major Russian facilities in Novorossiysk was damaged, which, according to Euronews, led to a temporary halt in oil exports from this port. Novorossiysk, through which about 2% of global oil supplies pass, is crucial for Russian export infrastructure. The incident triggered a rise in global oil prices, which increased by more than 2%.
