Entrepreneurs have become victims of extortion by the suspects
In Kyrgyzstan, former high-ranking officials of the State Tax Service have been detained on charges of corrupt activities. This information was provided by the press center of the State National Security Committee (GKNB).
According to law enforcement agencies, A. M. and U. S., who previously headed the audit department in the central office of the State Tax Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, were detained on December 8 and 10. The investigation established that, having colluded with the former chairman of the GNS, A. A., they used their official positions to extort money from entrepreneurs.
Security service specialists concluded that A. M. and U. S. were key figures in this corruption scheme.
The detainees are currently in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
