The investigation established that police captain O. G. O., working in the Nariman rural police department, used his official position to extort $3,000 from citizen K. uulu O., for whom a decision had been made to terminate the criminal case registered in December 2024 on charges of fraud. The investigator from the Aravan district, police captain S. N. S., acted as an intermediary in this scheme.

As a result of a joint operation by the GKNB and the Internal Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, both detainees were caught at the moment of receiving the first part of the bribe amounting to $1,600.
The detained investigators are currently in the detention center of the GKNB KR.
