A teenager published information on social media about alleged attacks on educational institutions.
A schoolboy was detained in Kazarman for posting threats of possible terrorist attacks in schools and kindergartens. This was reported by the press service of the State National Security Committee (GKNB).
According to the GKNB, the detainee is an eighth grader from one of the local schools who anonymously published messages about attacks on educational institutions in the village of Kazarman, located in the Toguz-Torou district of the Jalal-Abad region.
As a result of operational measures, the identity of the suspect was established. It turned out that the teenager was under the influence of external factors on the internet and was experiencing psychological pressure.
The detainee has now been handed over to the competent authorities for further investigation.
The GKNB also reminded that criminal liability for such serious crimes as threats of terrorism begins at the age of fourteen. Such actions are punishable by imprisonment for a term of five to ten years.
