The incident occurred on January 17, when a resident of Zelenaya Street contacted the police to report the disappearance of his Volkswagen Polo. According to him, the car was stolen around 11:30 PM when he left it parked near his home.
This case was registered in accordance with Article 211 ("Theft of a Vehicle") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation, based on recordings from surveillance cameras, police officers were able to identify the thief. He turned out to be T.A., born in 2005, who had previously had legal troubles.
Additionally, it became known that the stolen vehicle was left nearby the Red Crescent Society.
Investigative actions are ongoing.
