In Bishkek, the police detained a suspect in illegal drug trafficking, according to information from the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District.
The incident occurred on January 31, 2026. On Ogorodnaya Street, a law enforcement officer noticed the suspicious behavior of an unknown individual. As a result of operational surveillance, it was established that this citizen was engaged in the sale of drugs through so-called "stash" locations in the district and city.
In connection with this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of narcotic substances for the purpose of sale.
During further investigative actions, a citizen identified as T.B., born in 2007, was detained. Upon his arrest, he voluntarily indicated the locations of the stashes and handed over 29 heat-shrink packages containing narcotic substances. The detainee has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
