The police analyzed information on social networks
In Bishkek, the dissemination of materials that contribute to the destabilization of the socio-political situation has been identified. This was reported by the Main Internal Affairs Department.
According to law enforcement agencies, on January 27, 2026, during the monitoring of internet resources and social networks, a page on Instagram belonging to the user "meder.tagaibekovich" was discovered, which contained posts aimed at discrediting the state authorities of Kyrgyzstan and exacerbating the political situation in the country.
In the comments to these posts, social network users expressed opinions and calls that could lead to mass riots and destabilization of public order. The topics of discussion included, in particular, the closure of private driving schools in the republic.
In connection with these events, the Investigative Service initiated a criminal case under Article 278 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which covers mass riots and calls for violence.
During operational investigative activities, the police detained and brought M.T., born in 1994, to the station, who was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
This citizen is the director of the LLC "Aidoochulardy dayardoo borboru" — "Driver Training Center".
Currently, necessary investigative actions and checks are ongoing.
