On January 28, the parent of one of the victims, a resident of the village of Chyrak named K.K., filed a report with the Jetiy-Oguz District Internal Affairs Department stating that his son and his classmates had become victims of violence by the teacher J.K. during a lesson.
The report was registered, and relevant investigations soon began.
During the investigation, it was established that on that day, around 11:00 AM, at the secondary school in the village of Chyrak, the teacher J.K., born in 1996, called four students to the blackboard and, for educational purposes, struck them with his hands.
In order to check for bodily injuries, a forensic medical examination was scheduled for the students. However, the parents of the children expressed that they had no claims against the teacher and refused to undergo the examination.
At the moment, no criminal case has been initiated. Teacher J.K. was held accountable under Article 56 "Beatings" of the Code of Offenses.
This article states that "inflicting beatings or committing other violent actions that cause physical pain, if they do not contain qualifying features, entails punishment of community service for 40 hours or arrest for a period of three to seven days."
