Police officers detained in the Uzgen district of the Osh region were found to be involved in extortion, using a minor girl for their purposes. This information was revealed in a statement from the press center of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
According to law enforcement agencies, a senior district inspector, in collaboration with juvenile affairs employees, organized a conspiracy in which a 16-year-old girl was involved in illegal intimate activities with certain individuals. They then staged a "detention" and began to extort money, using blackmail and psychological pressure.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident. On February 4, GKNB employees, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Security Service, detained the suspects, who were placed in a temporary detention facility.
