The incident occurred on December 27, 2025, when officers from the Traffic Police of the Chui Region stopped a "KIA Optima" vehicle. The driver, 28-year-old K.Sh., presented a driver's license that raised suspicions among the inspectors during the document check.
As a result, a preliminary investigation was initiated, during which an examination was conducted. It confirmed that the driver's license, issued on March 29, 2024, was printed on an inkjet printer that did not meet the standards for producing official documents used by the State Enterprise "Unaa." This fact confirmed that the document was a forgery.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 379 ("Document Forgery") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The suspect has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
