In Osh, fake police conducted searches at a massage parlor and extorted money for "protection"

In the city of Osh, a fake police officer has been identified, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to information from the police, three men, without official identification, entered a massage parlor and introduced themselves as law enforcement officers. They conducted illegal searches and displayed aggression towards the owner of the establishment.

The criminals stole 32,000 soms and demanded additional money. One of them, calling himself "Marcel," received another 15,000 soms, promising to provide "protection," and began receiving regular transfers of 10,000 soms to his electronic wallet. In total, the amount of damage reached 77,000 soms.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 208 (extortion) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Employees of the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs caught one of the suspects, K. uulu N., born in 1993, while he was receiving another sum of money.

It has been established that this individual has no connection to the police and is suspected of committing other similar crimes.

The detained person has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Osh city police.

Operational search activities are ongoing regarding the other two suspects.
