According to law enforcement agencies, the suspect exploited the trust of citizens by promising to purchase new smartphones for them at reduced prices. After receiving a prepayment, he would disappear without fulfilling his obligations.
For example, on January 2, he promised to deliver an iPhone 17 Pro Max mobile phone to a resident of Bishkek in Osh within an hour. The man transferred him 11,000 soms, but did not receive the product.
Additionally, on February 2, the fraudster asked one of the residents of Osh for an iPhone 15 Pro "for a call," after which he also disappeared with the phone. Several similar complaints from citizens have been received by the police.
Currently, criminal proceedings have been initiated in this case under the article "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. On February 13, the suspect was placed in a temporary detention facility, and investigative activities are ongoing.
Law enforcement agencies strongly recommend that citizens remain vigilant and avoid handing over money or valuable items to unfamiliar individuals without prior verification of their intentions and reliability.
