On February 14, the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan recorded an attempt to illegally drive livestock across the border with Tajikistan.

The incident occurred in the Leilek district, near the Tajik Nasos area, where border guards apprehended a citizen identified as N.E.M., born in 1988.

It was revealed that he was attempting to transport livestock from Kyrgyz territory to Tajik territory, bypassing the established border crossing points.

As a result of law enforcement actions, 10 head of cattle were seized, which were apparently intended for illegal transportation across the border.

The detainee was placed in the Border Service unit for further investigation and the preparation of necessary documents in accordance with the law.

The agency also emphasizes that any attempts to violate the border crossing regime and illegally transport goods and animals entail liability under current legislation.
