The incident took place at a section of the border that runs through the Rishtan district. According to the State Security Service, the detainee was traveling from Kyrgyzstan, carrying a large batch of potent medications.
During the search conducted in the presence of witnesses, 9,542 capsules of the drug "Zardex" were found in his possession.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under several articles, including illegal border crossing, smuggling, and illegal trafficking of potent substances. Currently, the court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention, and investigative actions are ongoing.
