The applicant stated that on January 22, 2024, he purchased 16 acres of land in the village of Selektsiya for the amount of $200,000. It later turned out that he bought the plot from individuals who had no rights to it. As a result, the parties managed to agree on a refund, but only $57,500 was returned, while the remaining amount of 12,281,156 soms was never refunded.
This incident was registered in accordance with Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The suspect turned out to be U.M., born in 1985, who has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The identity of another participant in the fraudulent scheme has also been established, and he is currently wanted.
The investigation is ongoing.
