According to information from the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate, the incident took place in October 2024, when nephrologist N.B. provided medical assistance to the minor K.A., born in 2011. As a result of improper treatment, the girl developed serious complications that led to the amputation of her right leg.
Based on the above, a criminal case has been initiated under part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the improper performance of duties by a medical or pharmaceutical worker that resulted in serious harm through negligence.
The suspect has been charged based on the conclusions of forensic medical examinations. In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, she was detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek.
The investigation of this case is ongoing.
