
On the same day, February 25, the police department received information that a minor, who was 16 weeks pregnant, is the daughter of M.A., a resident of the village of Ak-Suu. This was reported by the press service of the regional police.
This case was recorded in the Journal of Information Registration of the Ak-Suu District Police Department, after which a preliminary investigation was initiated.
During this investigation, the investigative authorities interrogated the 17-year-old girl. The mother, M.A., refused to participate in the investigative actions as a legal representative, so the interrogation was conducted with the participation of an employee from the family and children's protection department.
That same evening, around 9:00 PM, M.A. left her home, stating that she was going to the store. According to preliminary data, she committed self-immolation while in a state of severe stress due to her daughter's pregnancy.
The woman was hospitalized in the Issyk-Kul Regional Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
A forensic medical examination is being conducted, and a preliminary investigation into this incident is ongoing.
