A woman, whose name is M. O. and who was born in 1992, was hospitalized with vinegar poisoning on January 31. According to the police, she suffered severe burns to her internal organs after consuming 80% vinegar and was placed in intensive care.

Investigators questioned her husband, K. E., born in 1990, who stated that they had been married since 2011 and had two children. Although they had been in the process of divorce since September 2025, communication continued. On the day of the tragedy, he drove M. O. home and handed her the keys to their apartment. Later, after receiving a call from her but not understanding what she wanted to say, he arrived and found her in the kitchen, after which he called an ambulance.

The woman's sister, O. E., born in 1986, contacted the Interior Ministry of Karakol on February 1 and claimed that her sister was driven to this state by her ex-husband.

Unfortunately, on February 2, M. O. passed away without regaining consciousness. The investigative authorities of Karakol opened a criminal case under the article "Driving to suicide," and the investigation is ongoing.

According to sources, the deceased's husband works in one of the divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Karakol.
