In Bishkek, the Pervomaisky District Court made a decision to place U.U.K., a former employee of the State Committee for National Security, known by the nickname "Vaseline," in custody. This information was confirmed by the court's press service, reports 24.kg.

According to judicial sources, the ex-employee is suspected of corruption under Article 336, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. He is currently being held in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department until April 15.

Earlier, a video appeared on social media containing photographs of athletes, representatives of law enforcement agencies, entrepreneurs, and other individuals, associates of Eldar Jakypbekov, the former head of the State National Security Committee in Bishkek. Among the mentioned figures was "Vaseline," who reportedly worked in the police before his service in national security.

The press service of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic later issued a statement emphasizing that there are no untouchables in government agencies. They noted that several employees suspected of abuses had previously been dismissed from the agency. Additionally, the GKNB denied rumors about unofficial nicknames, stating that such video materials are created by interested parties and distort the true representation of the committee's activities.
