They are currently in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
According to information provided by the press service of the GKNB, the deputy head and the head of the criminal investigation department of the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District were detained in Bishkek for receiving a bribe.
Specialists from the security service found that these officials, acting in collusion, initiated criminal proceedings against a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic with the initials "A.M.M."
After that, with the help of an intermediary, a legal representative named "K.A.T.", they demanded from the son of the victim "M.U.M." the sum of 30 thousand dollars to terminate the case.
A part of the extorted amount, specifically 20 thousand dollars, was handed over by "M.U.M." to "K.A.T.", who, in order to legitimize her actions, left the money at one of the currency exchange points in Bishkek for subsequent transfer to the officials of the Internal Affairs Department.
As a result of the investigative actions and confrontations conducted, the deputy head of the Internal Affairs Department "A.N.A." and the head of the criminal investigation department "A.I.A." were detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
