A drunk driver who identified himself as a 'journalist' was detained in Bishkek

He exhibited aggression and denied his guilt

In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, law enforcement officers detained a driver in a state of intoxication who identified himself as a "journalist." This information was provided by the Patrol Police Service.

According to reports from the patrol service, the detainee was driving a vehicle with obvious signs of intoxication. At the time of his detention, the man behaved aggressively towards the police officers and stubbornly denied that he was behind the wheel.

During the check, it was revealed that his driver's license had previously been revoked. Nevertheless, he continued to get behind the wheel.

The materials of the case will be sent to court.
