In the Chui region, as part of the operation "Arsenal," a man suspected of illegal activities related to weapons and drugs, as well as violations of hunting regulations, was detained. This was reported by the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region.
According to law enforcement officials, a search was conducted in the home of citizen O.N., born in 1974, residing in the village of Shabdan, based on operational information obtained in the framework of a criminal case.
During the search, smoothbore firearm of the "IZH" brand, caliber 12 with cartridges, as well as cartridges for rifled weapons of unspecified caliber, the head of a wild goat, skins of a wild boar, two carcasses of wild pheasants, and one carcass of a chukar were found.
Additionally, approximately 1.5 kg of cannabis was discovered in the attic.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under the following articles: "Illegal circulation of weapons and ammunition," "Illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale," as well as "Illegal hunting or fishing for aquatic animals" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
