According to the Main Internal Affairs Department of the capital, the Drug Control Service received operational information that unknown individuals were engaged in the sale of synthetic drugs through hiding places in the territory of the Pervomaisky district.
During operational-search activities as part of the preventive operation "Den", a fact of placing stash spots was revealed. A. B., born in 2006, and A. T., born in 2007, were detained. They were found in possession of and had 50 packets of synthetic narcotic substances prepared for further distribution.
According to the investigation, they obtained the prohibited substances through one of the Telegram channels, after which they packaged and placed them in hiding spots throughout the city.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 "Illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During urgent investigative actions involving a service search dog, a search was conducted at the residence of one of the detainees. Electronic scales, packaging materials, tape, shrink tubes, gloves, masks, and other items used for packaging drugs were discovered and seized.
The detainees have been placed in the temporary detention facility in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The investigation is ongoing.
The Main Internal Affairs Department also appealed to parents to pay attention to their children and inquire about their surroundings and sources of income, as the involvement of youth in the illegal drug trade often occurs through the internet under the pretext of "quick earnings."
