The detention of the "stash maker" became possible thanks to a citizen's report to the police.
A person engaged in the illegal distribution of drugs was detained in Bishkek, according to information from the Main Internal Affairs Department.
On February 2, a resident of one of the residential complexes contacted the 102 service and reported a suspicious find – presumably narcotic substances that were hidden as a "stash."
An investigative operational group from the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs was dispatched to the scene. During the inspection, law enforcement officers discovered the stash near the gates and received a video recording from the applicant, which captured the process of hiding the drugs.
As a result, a criminal procedure was initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The suspect, born in 2004, was identified as A.B. His mobile phone contained correspondence in Telegram with someone named Azamat, who was sending him the coordinates of the drug locations.
The detained individual admitted that he had been involved in the distribution of psychotropic substances for the past month and indicated the places where the stashes were made. In total, more than 40 packages were found.
Examination showed that the total weight of the narcotic substance is about 120 grams.
The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility. Investigative actions are ongoing.
