On February 12, 2026, employees of the Department of Internal Affairs, together with the Drug Control Department of the Issyk-Kul region, conducted a series of searches in the Ak-Suu district.
As a result of the operational activities, the following narcotic substances were discovered:
- in the house of a resident of the village of Toktogul, born in 1980, named T.A., 18 grams of a substance with a characteristic smell of wild cannabis were found;
- from another resident of the village, A.A., born in 1982, a similar substance weighing 28 grams was seized;
- in the village of Ichke-Jergez, in the house of citizen K.B., born in 1993, 1 kilogram and 200 grams of a substance with the smell of cannabis were found.
All seized drugs were packaged and will be used as evidence in the case. A forensic chemical examination has been appointed.
Investigative actions are ongoing.
