According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, four individuals were detained during the operational activities: N. u. R., born in 2002, B.Zh.M., born in 2005, as well as two teenagers — M. u. N. and S. u. B., both born in 2006. These individuals were transporting drugs from the Toktogul district to Bishkek for the purpose of further distribution.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning "Illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale." Forensic chemical examinations have also been appointed for the seized drugs.
The detainees have been placed in the detention center of the State Penitentiary Service (GPS).
Currently, activities aimed at identifying other participants in the criminal activity are ongoing.
