The investigation has established that the detained individual was leaving stashes of psychotropics in various locations.
The incident occurred on February 2, when the police received a report from residents of one of the new residential complexes about the discovery of a suspicious object. The press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek city disseminated this information.
An investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene, where they discovered a package wrapped in duct tape near a fence. The informant reported that he recorded the moment when an unknown person left this object on video.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production and sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
During operational-search activities, a 19-year-old citizen, A.B., was detained, who is suspected of being involved in this case.
Upon checking his mobile phone, correspondence was found in the Telegram application with a user named "Azamat," which contained information about the stash locations and the quantity of discovered psychotropic substances.
According to the detainee, he had been distributing psychotropic substances for the past month using the method of stash placements.
Based on his testimony, police officers seized packages containing prohibited substances from several locations. In total, more than 40 packages were seized, weighing approximately 120 grams.
At the moment, the suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
