Operational information about the possible storage and distribution of drugs in one of the houses in the village of Novopokrovka was received by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Issyk-Ata District on February 11. Immediately after receiving the information, an investigative operational group was dispatched to the location, and the facts were confirmed.
On the same day, around 13:30, a resident of the village named K.B., born in 2007, was detained after attracting the attention of law enforcement officers with his suspicious behavior. During a search, law enforcement found a white powdery substance with a characteristic smell, packaged in wraps and taped with duct tape. A total of 10 bricks were seized. An examination revealed that this was a synthetic drug called "Alpha-PVP".
This case was registered under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances with the intent to sell them.
The suspect was placed in a temporary detention facility. Investigative activities are ongoing to identify other possible accomplices.
