
This incident occurred on February 2. Residents of one of the new buildings contacted service 102 after noticing a suspicious object near the fence. A forensic investigative team from the Lenin District Internal Affairs Department was dispatched to the scene. During the inspection, they discovered a package wrapped in duct tape. According to the complainant, he recorded the moment the object was left on video.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production and sale of narcotic and psychotropic substances.
During operational activities, a 22-year-old citizen named A.B. was identified and detained. When checking his mobile phone, a conversation was found in the Telegram app with a user named Azamat, which contained information about the locations of "stashes" and the quantity of packaged substances. The detainee admitted that he had been distributing psychotropic substances for a month.
Based on his testimony, the police conducted searches in various hiding places and seized more than 40 packages. An examination conducted by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate confirmed that the seized items were psychotropic substances weighing approximately 120 grams in total.
The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility, and the pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
