The Bailiff Service of the Batken district received an enforcement order concerning the debtor M.U.Z., demanding the collection of alimony amounting to one-third of his income in favor of the claimant.
“Despite the measures taken by the service during the enforcement proceedings, the debtor did not comply with the court's decision properly. The total amount of alimony arrears from January 1, 2022, to September 1, 2025, amounted to 313,833 soms,” the statement noted.
Criminal proceedings were initiated in this case, during which the necessary investigative actions were carried out. The criminal case was sent to court, where, following the review, the Batken Regional Court found M.U.Z. guilty under part 2 of Article 178 (Evading parental support for children) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and sentenced him to two years of imprisonment, taking him into custody in the courtroom.
