According to law enforcement agencies, this man's debt amounted to 474,856 soms. Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against him under Article 178, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Officers from the Kadamjai District Department of Internal Affairs found him in Kyzyl-Kyia, where he was hiding from justice.
Investigative actions are ongoing.
According to official statistics from the Judicial Department of Kyrgyzstan, there are about 60,000 registered child support cases in the country. More than 1,400 individuals evading child support payments are wanted. At the same time, only 2 percent of divorced parents regularly fulfill their obligations to support their children.
